The life of Miguel Àngel

Miguel Angel Rodriguez Chapital He was born on October 8, 1983 in Cordoba, Veracruz, under the sign Libra, with  his family he learned the values of work, sincerity and honesty.  Imitating his elder brother he acquired a great love for music, and in his birthday number nine, he asked  his dad for a guitar instrument. He learned to play empirically, because in high school he was not accepted in the rondalla of that institution. As time goes by, the guitar becomes his partner and an accomplice in his musical adventures.  At the age of 13 he made his debut in front of an audience in a singing mothers day festival.

Shortly after that a radio station makes a contest for amateurs where he participates being among the first places along with his brother Jose Alfredo, they interpreted the song "marrionetas".

His love for music leads him to constitute a group called "dark room" where he was the first voice. They sang at bars and restaurants in the city of Puebla where he lives and also sang in the choir of the church in the neighborhood.
 

He learns about the auditions to enter the reality show "The academy" and participates in the castings which took place at the World Trade Center of Mexico City and after several more tests he remains at the reality show among other 13 students.

Every day he captivated Mexico with his extraordinary voice. Singing songs indoors the first few days, as well as in the unforgettable concerts that he made.  He was one of the finalists at the controversial final, ending as the winner of the third place.

He signed a contract with the record company Sony Music, participates in the tour of the academy first generation that travel around the country for 6 months and finally on June 26, 2003, he releases  . his first CD, entitled "Si tu supieras amor" in witch the song “Soledad” composition of his own inspiration and that was the song that he sang in the audition to enter the academy.

He travels along the country promoting his album and resignes to TV Azteca by own decision,  to leave the management of his career to the company HM Produccions, shortly makes a memorable show case in Puebla and on May 10, 2004 gives a concert at the Metropolitan Theatre which achieves of mega hit.
 

On December 10, 2004 Hits Stores his second production entitled "Un hombre como yo" composed of ten ballads with the mark of his clean, romantic, sweet and charming voice, where his first release was the song titled "Del odio la amor."

During 2005 he makes a tour around the country promoting his album and also making presentations at concerts where he achieves success and recognition of the public.

Starting the year 2006 participates in the show named “Desafio de Estrellas”  where he stayed during 20 concerts, offering magnificent presentations and achieving excellent reviews.

As a result of his participation in the that show, he releases the CD + DVD containing a collection of the best interpretations in the program.
 

To end the 2006 he participates in two CD's one a tribute to Jose Alfredo Jimenez and the other one "Christmas with the Stars of the Academy" both recorded together with several of his partners of the reality show “La  Academia”.

During 2007 he dedicated much of his time to prepare his fourth cd which was presented to the broadcast mediums on January 23, 2008 and on February 14 he will give a concert at the Metropolitan Theatre where he will present the CD to  his Mexican public.
